Together We Win

Stand Up Indiana is not just an organization; it’s a movement, leading the fight to bring back balance in our legislature and shaping a future where fairness and equality prevail.

At Stand Up Indiana, we understand the weariness that divisive politics has brought to Hoosiers. We believe in returning Hoosier hospitality to the heart of our state, building unity, and pushing Indiana forward towards a brighter future. Our commitment is rooted in the belief that by fostering a sense of togetherness, we can drive Indiana towards a brighter and more inclusive future.

We are dedicated to standing up for Hoosiers, amplifying their voices, and reshaping the political landscape that affects us all through authentic, smart communication. With an unwavering focus on legislative and electoral transformation, our aim is to create an Indiana that works for every resident.

We understand the importance of restoring balance in our government. This means making sure  our statehouse prioritizes the needs and aspirations of the people, placing unity at the forefront of their decision-making. We strive to cultivate a political atmosphere that not only listens to the concerns of Hoosiers but actively works towards addressing them.

Stand Up Indiana is more than an advocacy group; we are architects of change, working tirelessly to reshape the narrative of our state. By standing united and pushing forward, we believe in building a better Indiana that reflects the shared values of community, family, hard work, and faith.

What We Do
  • Our Mission

Our mission is clear – to uplift the voices of Hoosiers across the state and support them in the fight for a better Indiana. We strive to be a communications hub for the activists who need it most, providing communities with the tools they need to organize for a better future. Stand Up Indiana is an instigator for reasonable policy and grassroots activity, dedicated to improving the lives of Hoosier working families.

Stand Up Indiana is  the premier communications and messaging organization for progressive  Hoosiers.

  • Our Vision

In a fiercely competitive political environment, Stand Up Indiana envisions a future where civility resonates as loudly, if not louder, than the divisive voices in our political environment. We strive to challenge the existing supermajority in Indiana through communications strategies – like earned media, digital, social, and paid media channels – that will lead us to victories in elections and policy advancements.

Our vision centers around the principles of fairness, creating opportunities, lifting every voice, and providing a platform for individuals to be heard.

We are dedicated to dismantling a system that is currently biased, rebalancing the scales, and ultimately reinstating Hoosier hospitality in our government. We will support leaders who work for the people and uphold our  values of community, family, faith, and hard work.

  • Theory of Change

We’re looking for longterm victories. Our theory of change spans the next ten years, during which we aim to successfully create a comprehensive communication framework for leaders across the state to bring about electoral and policy wins. As the organization leading the way, we are dedicated to developing a messaging framework for community leaders, non-profit organizations engaged in advocacy work, and individuals who want to run for office. Through our data-driven and tested messaging strategies, we will unite as one succinct movement and amplify our collective voice.
